Translucent sensory cubes of perception

Sensory perception cubes come in eight different light colors and feel soft and cozy to the touch. Younger children will enjoy handling them in sensory games or as part of a collection of treasure baskets. Older children will find them fascinating as they hold and look to see the world around them in different colors.

Holding two or three cubes together creates new colors and shades; Using the cubes in a light box or against a window will improve children’s opportunities to mix colors. When viewed from different angles, children will see a variety of squares and rectangles within the cube, an effect caused by internal reflection from the outer edges.

They can also be used to stack towers or included with other similar resources to create imaginative small-world scenes.
